Lease a Bike has been the official business club partner of Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach since the 2021/22 season. Since then, the club's employees have been able to choose their dream bike and use it both for commuting to work and for leisure. In the course of the last season, 40 employees have already opted for a new bike and thus also for sustainable mobility. In this way, the association, in cooperation with Lease a Bike, is making an important contribution to environmental protection.
Together with Statista, Lease a Bike conducted a study on the topic of "company bike leasing and sustainable mobility" among German employees. Many exciting and new findings emerged - for example, 59% of employees would like their company to provide them with a company bike.
Borussia Mönchengladbach has a new official sponsor for the 2021/2022 Bundesliga season in the form of the company bike leasing provider Lease a Bike. But that's not all: with the Lease a Bike bike leasing offer, the football club is offering all its employees a sporty alternative to the company car and is thus making a major contribution to green mobility.
Werder Bremen has extended its partnership with Lease a Bike for the 2021/2022 season. The company bike leasing provider from Cloppenburg will thus remain the official supplier of the northern club. As part of the partnership, SV Werder offers all of its employees a sporty alternative to a company car with the Lease a Bike bike leasing service, thus making a major contribution to green mobility.
Bike Mobility Services enters the leasing and financing of bicycles with Volkswagen Financial Services.
The subsidy for company bikes was adjusted so that riding a company bikes is now even more favorable for employees. The assessment basis for the taxable non-cash benefit for private use is now divided into four.
